Stratford District Council is pleased to announce the recipients for the 2020 Citizen Awards, Youth Citizen Awards and an Outstanding Citizen Award.
To kick off Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), Stratford District Council has participated in the nationwide Māori Language Moment at 12noon today by launching a te reo Māori recording of Romeo and Juliet’s glockenspiel scene.
The launch was supported by representatives from local schools, marae, and community members.
Update 11.20am: Water has now been restored.
Thanks for your patience.
A water pipe on Pembroke Road East has burst. Water has been shutdown to properties in the area between Cordelia Street and Swansea Road.
Contractors are on-site making the needed repairs and we expect water to be restored to properties by 12noon today.
