On Tuesday 11 August at an Ordinary Meeting of Council, elected members discussed whether to proceed with seeking the Minister of Conservation’s consent on their preferred location of co-locating the new pool development with the TET Multi Sport Stadium.

Through a vote, elected members opted to take public feedback into consideration and re-visit the available location options, prior to seeking approval from the Minister.

As of 12noon on 12 August 2020, New Zealand will be moving to Alert Level 2, with the exception of Auckland who will move to Alert Level 3.

For Stratford District Council, this means facilities will be operating under Level 2 guidelines and ask that residents be patient and adhere to guidelines in place to keep our staff and the community well.
