Stay up-to-date with Antenno
Antenno is a mobile app that sends you alerts and notifications, about places and topics you care about.
Antenno is free to download and use, and you can opt out of topics that aren't of interest to you. It doesn't ask for any personal information or login details, so it's a nice easy way to stay informed.
There are two ways you can use Antenno; to receive notifications from council about the places you have marked as important to you, or reporting back to council on issues or feedback.
Notifications from Council
Antenno lets you choose the places you want to be alerted about, so you're not being alerted about things that don't matter to you. You can pick multiple "Places" (which could be the area you live in, work, where your children go to school, or where you like to exercise your dog) and then you will see updates from council on community events, matters up for consultation, water shutdowns, changes to rubbish collections and much more.
Reporting back to Council
You can also use Antenno to tell us about things that need fixing, or give us feedback, direct through the app! Antenno makes it easy for people to submit feedback or report issues such as a full public rubbish bin, damaged footpath, road pothole, graffiti or submit feedback or an idea to Council.
Antenno is a useful channel that you can feed information back to us that will be logged on the Council’s system as a Customer Request.

The aim of Antenno is to provide relevant information for places you care about. If something comes up that affects the entire district, as long as your place of interest is somewhere within the Stratford District, you'll still receive a notification.
Yes! For example, if you have saved your work and home address under Your Places – and you want recycling notifications about recycling for your home address, but not your work, you can simply opt out of getting those types of messages for your workplace.
Yes! You can turn on and off notifications for places as many times as you please.

The app requires either a wifi connection or mobile data to receive notifications. If you are somewhere without wifi and don't have your mobile data on, you won't receive new posts until you are connected again.
When we have a notification to send we assess which parts of the Stratford District would find the message relevant. For example:
- A notification about an incident or road closure on State Highway 3 between Midhirst and Stratford would be sent to the whole district as that road is widely used.
- An unplanned water outage that affects residents in Toko would only be sent to those in Toko.
- A rates reminder would be sent district wide, as would a reminder about dog registrations.
- A notification about a community event in Stratford would be sent district wide because we think that's important to everyone in our district.
- A change to rubbish collections for Area A would only be sent to that collection area. People in Midhirst wouldn't receive this alert for example because they are part of Area B collection.
Each notification shows which of your saved places it relates to, by displaying the places' nickname at the top left.
For example, if you have saved three places (your home, your work and your rental property) you will see that for a rates reminder (a district wide message) all three nicknames appear at the top as this post is relevant to all three places.
As another example; if your rental property is in Midhirst and you receive a recycling message for that place, it is because recycling is due for your rental property, not your home in Stratford.
