The Stratford District Council Citizens and Youth Citizens Awards nominations are an annual celebration.
Nomination forms will be available to download below, or can be picked up from the Council offices and the Stratford library, when nominations open.
An Awards presentation evening for 2022 was held on 2 August in the Function Facility, War Memorial Centre. The award recipients are presented with a certificate, and members of the community attend to support the recipients.

These awards seek to recognise our local champions, people who reside in the Stratford District and have, through personal leadership, inspiration, or devotion to a cause or causes, made a significant and positive contribution to the well-being of the district and its citizens.

These awards seek to recognise young people between the ages of 12 and 24 years who reside in the Stratford District, and have, through personal leadership, inspiration, sacrifice or devotion to a cause, made a significant and positive contribution to the well-being of the district and its citizens.
Nominations for the 2022 Youth Citizen Awards open on Monday 2 May and close on Friday 27 May 2022.
2018 saw the inclusion of a new award category – the Outstanding Citizen Award. This new award recognises outstanding achievement, be it through longevity of service, a past award recipient who has continued to service the community, or someone who has contributed an outstanding service to our community.
