Proposed Temporary Road Closure – 2026 Christmas Parade

Stratford District Council proposes to close the following roads on Friday 27 August 2026 between the hours of 4.30pm and 7.30pm for the purpose of the 2026 Annual Christmas Parade.

• Miranda Street between Regan Street and Fenton Street and the War Memorial Hall Carpark
• Fenton Street between Portia Street and Broadway (State Highway 3)
• Broadway (State Highway 3) between Seyton Street and Page Street

Detours will be available for the duration of these road closures.

Anyone who wishes to object to the closure must provide their reason in writing before Friday 13 November 2026 at the office of the Stratford District Council on Miranda Street, or by emailing StratfordDC@stratford.govt.nz
