Two notable trees are being removed due to fungal infection
News
After an arborist inspection, two notable trees on Hamlet Street have been confirmed as being infected with Ganoderma Brackets otherwise known as white rot.
Unfortunately, because the infection is known to weaken trees through damaging the internal structure, the arborist recommended the two trees be removed. This will take place between Monday 13 and Friday 17 of May.
We’ll replace the trees like-for-like, and we hope the new additions will one day grow up to be notable too.
