Facility hours on Waitangi Day

It's Waitangi Day on Tuesday 6 February and many of us will have the day off to mark the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Some of our facilities may be closed or have reduced hours, so please check our opening hours below and plan ahead. A big thank you to those who are working on the day. We appreciate your mahi!
- Council’s Service Centre on Miranda St - closed
- Wai O Rua – Stratford Aquatic Centre - open 10am to 5pm
- Library and Visitor Information Centre - closed
- Refuse Transfer Station - open 1pm to 5pm
