Stratford Accessibility Expo
Stratford’s Positive Ageing Group invites you to attend their accessibility expo on Thursday 27 May 2021 in the Stratford War Memorial Centre.
Local service providers and businesses are coming together to provide residents with information, education and opportunities to lead a healthy and happy lifestyle.
Services such as Mobility and More, ACC, Taranaki District Health Board and Citizens Advice Bureau will be attending and are looking forward to meeting and speaking with Stratford district residents.
Positive Ageing Chair Gloria Webby says the expo will have something for everyone. “Accessibility is not just about getting to places it’s about having the opportunity to access information from the experts to help with everyday challenges, like digital banking or who to contact to access services at the hospital,” she says.
“Our expo is another great opportunity for the community to come together, learn information that is relevant to them whilst listening to some great local entertainment over a cuppa!” says Gloria.
The Accessibility Expo is being held in the Stratford War Memorial Centre next Thursday 27 May from 10.30am to 12.30pm, with entertainment from local artist Jack Moser. Lunch will be provided.
Entry is a gold coin donation, attendees are encouraged to register on Eventbrite or with the Stratford Library and Visitor Information Centre for catering purposes.
