Proposed Temporary Road Closure - Taranaki Tarmac Rally

Council proposes to close the following roads on Sunday 25 June 2023 between the hours of 9.30am and 3.00pm for the purpose of the Taranaki Tarmac Rally 2023.

Special Stage 1 and 3:

• Mohakau Road – From SH43 to Makuri Road
• Makuri Road – From Mohakau Road to Douglas Road
• Douglas Road – From Makuri Road to State Highway 43

Special Stage 2 and 4:

• Wawiri Road – From Ahuroa Road to Makuri Road
• Makuri Road – From Wawiri Road to Stanley Road
• Stanley Road – Makuri Road to Croydon Road
• Croydon Road to Salisbury Road

Detours will be available for the duration of these road closures.

If you wish to object to the proposal please do so in writing, stating your reason for objection, before FRIDAY 19 MAY2023. Email StratfordDC@stratford.govt.nz or visit our Service Centre at 63 Miranda Street to lodge your objection.
