3 ways the library can help you connect, learn, and get a helping hand
Community Conversations
Once a month, the library hosts a presentation from a local speaker, followed by a cuppa and a chat.
Next up to speak, is Christine from the Senior Citizens Association from 11am - 12pm on Friday 20 February.
The Stratford and District Senior Citizens Association Inc & Hall, also known as the Senior Citizens Hall, is a community hub for older adults.
Christine will talk about the facilities available, what’s on, when it’s on, and who it’s for.
Jane says, “If a session sounds interesting, come along - all are welcome!”
“Community Conversations are a way local organisations can have the chance to showcase what they do, explain how they work, and share helpful information directly with the community.”
“If you’re part of a community group or organisation that’s keen to speak, call 06 765 5403 or email Library@Stratford.govt.nz and let’s talk.”
