Are you drawn to creativity? Join our arts funding committee!
We’re looking for people to help assess applications for our Creative Communities Scheme fund. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to help support and grow our local arts community, meet fellow arts practitioners, and gain experience on a committee.
Our committee needs people:
- Who know what’s happening in the arts locally
- Who have experience in one or more forms of art
- From a range of communities
- With specific cultural knowledge relevant to the arts
- Of all ages. We’d particularly like to encourage young people to apply
What’s involved?
You’ll help assess applications for funding from artistic individuals and community groups, and attend assessment committee meetings between two and four times a year.
The Creative Communities Scheme (CCS)
Each year, Creative New Zealand provides CCS funding to local and district councils throughout New Zealand to distribute in their area. The scheme supports over 1,800 projects every year.
