Youth Councils in New Zealand provide young people with a voice, and give them an opportunity to represent the views of their peers in the community.
The Stratford District Youth Council is designed to serve youth of the district through strong and positive leadership, providing recreational, social and educational facilities and services.
The Youth Council comprises up to 15 young people aged between 12 and 24 years of age who live, work, or go to school in the Stratford district.
We aim to represent a wide range of ethnicities, occupations, ages and backgrounds.
