GALLERY ASSISTANT

The Percy Thomson Trust is a charitable trust responsible for the management of the Thomson Bequest including an Arboretum and Herbarium of the native flora of New Zealand and an Art Gallery.

The Trust is looking for a capable and enthusiastic person to fill this part-time position (up to 20 hours per week with a maximum of 85 hours a month, flexibility in working hours is necessary as some weeks more hours or less hours may be required). The role is for a fixed one year period, with an extension at the discretion of the Trust.

Key tasks to this position include:

• Customer Service.
• Assisting the Gallery Director with exhibitions.
• Assisting the Gallery Director with general office duties.
• Maintaining the gallery mailing database.
