Council is asking for residents to complete a footpath survey to help prioritise which footpaths to repair and replace first.
Earlier this year, a condition assessment was done of all urban footpaths in Stratford. This condition assessment identified the footpaths that have the most damage. Council is now asking residents to complete a survey to identify which footpaths they use most frequently.
“Comparing both sets of data will help create a footpath repair and replacement programme,” says Roading Asset Manager Steve Bowden. “The most frequented routes will then be prioritised over those used less often”
Surveys are available to pick up from the Council Service Centre on Miranda Street, Stratford District Library, Stratford i-SITE, TSB Pool Complex or can be downloaded here.
All surveys need to be completed and returned by Monday 24 December 2018.
