If you have always wanted to give ice skating a go, now is your chance.

The Stratford District Youth Council is organising an On the Bus trip to Hawera this July school holidays with a full day of activities planned, including time on the ice at the TSB Hub.

The Ice Skate Tour is a synthetic ice skating rink which will be in Hawera for a fortnight.
Chairperson Kate-lyn Edser says the Youth Council wanted to give Stratford’s young people the chance to have a go on the ice and have planned a day of activities around this.
“Ice skating will be central to the day, but we have indoor soccer, pizza and a movie all happening,” says Kate-lyn.
The On the Bus; Ice Skate Tour takes place on Thursday 13 July, meeting at War Memorial carpark at 9.00am and returning to Stratford for the movie Despicable Me 3 from 2.00pm-3.45pm at the TET King’s Theatre.
Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased through Stratford i-SITE with the ticket price including transport, all activities and pizza.
This event is for ages 12-24 only.  Those under 18 years of age require parental consent.
