Stratford's ANZAC Day commemorations commence with a dawn service at 5.55am at the Cross of Sacrifice, Miranda Street, Stratford followed by a light breakfast in the War Memorial Centre.
The parade follows at 10.30am, marching along Fenton Street, Broadway, Regan Street and Miranda Street to end at the War Memorial carpark. All descendants of returned service personnel are welcome to participate in the parade. Returned service personnel are asked to wear their medals and decorations. Descendants of returned service personnel marching in the parade are asked to wear medals on the right upper portion of their apparel. All participants in the parade are required to meet outside the RSA building on the corner of Fenton and Miranda Streets at 10.20am.
After the parade, a civic service will be held at the War Memorial Centre at 11.00am. The commemorations end with a wreath laying ceremony at the Cross of Sacrifice following the civic service, after which a cup of tea will be offered at the War Memorial Centre.
