If you are aged between 12 and 24 and looking for a fun night out, then it’s time to get on the bus with the Stratford District Youth Council.
With harvesting just around the corner, climb on board for a trip to the Taranaki Maize Maze at Egmont Village before it’s gone. To add to the challenge there will be prizes for the first to make it through and don’t get lost, because there is a lot more on offer.
After racing through the maze, you’ll be back On the Bus and heading to Bowlarama in New Plymouth to showcase your skills on the bowling lanes. There will be just enough time for some free pizza, before you start swinging the bowling balls.
To add to the laughs, you are encouraged to come in fancy dress. There is no theme, so use your imagination and see what crazy creations you can come up with! There will be more prizes for best costume and bowling. It’s fun, light-hearted competition, so you don’t have to be sports buff to join in.
On the Bus will be running Friday 24 March, leaving from the War Memorial carpark in Stratford at 4.45pm and returning to Stratford at 10.00pm.
Tickets cost just $5 and can be purchased from the Stratford i-SITE in Prospero Place. Spaces are limited, so get in quick!
Those under eighteen years of age are required to have parental consent. The permission forms are available at i-SITE. For more information contact Leanne Richards on 06 765 6099.
