WAR MEMORIAL CENTRE

The War Memorial Centre is a large complex available for conferences, weddings, meetings and sports events, with plenty of space and parking.

The War Memorial Centre is located at 55 Miranda Street, Stratford. It is walking distance from the CBD and the charming King Edward Park. (See map of Stratford by clicking here.)

Terms & conditions of hire

The tables provided are folding tables, 180cm long by 75cm wide.

Depending on other usage, the chairs and tables in the Function Facility and TSB Chambers can be supplemented with chairs and tables from the stadium, by prior arrangement.

The supply of extra tables and chairs is the responsibility of the hirer.

Bond (when food and/or alcohol is to be served): $300 (refundable)

CENTENNIAL REST ROOMS

The Centennial Rest Rooms are located on Fenton Street West, alongside King Edward Park and the Patea River. They are suitable for small meetings or weddings, and have a kitchen and public toilets available.

The two rooms available are named the Institute Room and the Meeting Room. The Institute Room is the room with the stage, and holds about 60 people, theatre-style. The Meeting Room holds about 30 people, theatre-style.
